We offer certain protocol documents as free downloads ('Free Protocols') for personal, non-commercial use only. By downloading a Free Protocol, you agree that you will not use it in any professional, clinical, or commercial context, and will not distribute it to any third party. Professional or clinical use requires a separate paid license under Section 4. No license beyond personal use is granted, and no implied license arises from any course of dealing or prior access.
3.2 Paid Supporter Guides
We offer paid digital guides for individuals supporting a person in personal crisis ('Supporter Guides'). Supporter Guides are licensed for personal, non-commercial use by the purchasing individual only. They may not be copied, distributed, or used in any professional or clinical context without a separate professional license. This license is personal and non-transferable.
3.3 Professional Licenses
Professional use of our protocols and materials requires a current, valid professional license purchased from us. 'Professional use' includes but is not limited to distributing materials to clients, patients, or staff; using them in clinical practice, supervision, or group work; or making them available within any institutional setting. We offer three license tiers, set out in Section 4. A formal Professional license Agreement is issued to each licensee upon purchase.

4.3 What All Licenses Include
All professional licenses include: access to all protocols and materials currently published at the date of purchase; automatic access to all new versions and new materials released during the license term at no additional cost; print and digital distribution rights within the scope of the applicable tier; and a formal Professional license Agreement issued upon purchase.
Licenses are granted for an annual term and do not renew automatically. Renewal requires payment of the applicable fee for the renewal period before the existing license expires.
4.4 Universal Prohibited Uses
The following uses are prohibited under all tiers and all personal use terms. Any of the following constitutes a material breach:
reselling, sublicensing, or repackaging our materials as your own product or offering, whether or not for commercial gain;
building, offering, or commercialising paid training programmes, courses, certifications, or accreditation schemes based wholly or substantially on our materials;
removing, obscuring, altering, or overriding the Paradox Crisis Protocols™ brand name, trademark, copyright notice, or non-clinical disclaimer in any copy of our materials;
using our materials with clinicians or within settings beyond the scope of your license tier;
using our protocols or any part thereof to train, fine-tune, or develop any artificial intelligence model, large language model, or machine learning system;
creating derivative commercial works based on our materials without our prior written consent; and
representing our materials as therapy, clinical treatment, medical advice, diagnosis, or crisis intervention.

The Company shall not be liable for: loss of profits, revenue, or anticipated savings; loss of business or commercial opportunities; loss of data; reputational harm or loss of goodwill; any clinical, therapeutic, or personal outcome arising from use of or reliance on our content; any psychological, emotional, or physical harm arising from such use; or any loss arising from a third party's use of our content following distribution by a licensed professional. These exclusions apply whether or not such loss was foreseeable.

The Company makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, that its content is appropriate, clinically suitable, therapeutically effective, or sufficient for any individual's particular circumstances. All content is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. The Company expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Where our materials are used by a licensed professional under a valid professional license, that professional retains full responsibility for their clinical judgment, professional and ethical obligations, and duty of care to their clients. Our materials do not alter, diminish, or transfer any aspect of a licensed professional's responsibilities. The Company accepts no liability for any outcome arising from a licensed professional's use, distribution, or reliance upon our materials in the course of their practice.
